  • Delikia will provide more than 10,000 points of sale, of which 5,000 are public vending machines, as well as presence in five airports, three of which are in the top six in Spain.
  • In their commitment to guarantee the health and safety of all personnel, CAPSA FOOD and Delikia have both certified their processes and facilities against COVID-19.

CAPSA FOOD, a leading company in the Spanish dairy market, and Delikia, the leading vending operator in Spain with 100% Spanish capital, have signed a collaboration agreement whose objectives are to promote innovation and developing new dairy products in the vending machine sector. Specifically, CAPSA FOOD will offer Delikia users a wide range of high-quality dairy products and will supply Central Lechera Asturiana milk, renowned throughout Spain for its quality and origin, for preparing different coffee products with milk that can be purchased from vending machines.

This collaboration will continue for at least three years, during which time both companies will contribute their experience and knowledge for developing processes and products that can be applied to vending machines.

The new concepts being studied are bottled coffee-with-milk products, coffee-milk capsules, cappuccinos and milk preparations for automatic vending machines, among others.

As part of the collaboration, Delikia will provide more than 10,000 points of sale, 5,000 of which are public vending machines, as well as presence in five airports, three of which are among those with the highest passenger volume: Prat, Las Palmas and Málaga.

Delikia will become the vending channel for introducing and selling different CAPSA FOOD products such as smoothies and snacks.

In the words of Jose Gainzarain, General Manager of Delikia, we are very pleased with this new venture with CAPSA FOOD, a leading company in the Spanish dairy sector. The two companies are renowned for a dynamic and innovative spirit and we are convinced that this new alliance will be a complete success. Delikia will provide CAPSA FOOD all the technology and innovation of its machines in order to develop and launch new dairy products.”

José Armando Tellado, General Manager of CAPSA FOOD, said that starting this joint project is very significant because it involves entering the vending machine channel with the strength of Delikia, which means that CAPSA products will be present in more 10,000 machines throughout Spain. We want to continue promoting healthy eating of the highest quality at all times and also develop new natural products and formats together that care for the health of people in Spain.”

Companies certified against COVID-19

In their commitment to guarantee the health and safety of all personnel, CAPSA FOOD and Delikia have both certified their processes and facilities against COVID-19. CAPSA FOOD has therefore certified more than 80 measures that it implemented during the health crisis and that are integrated within its General Action Plan against COVID 19 through the COVID-19 Good Practices Certificate developed and accredited by AENOR. The Plan integrates hygiene, prevention and organisational measures that apply to all employees in its six production plants and to all people who are working within its facilities. Delikia has just obtained the seal that certifies its protocol for action against the risks derived from Covid-19, in all of its 22 offices. This certification scheme developed by APPLUS includes aspects related to the physical environment, basic hygienic measures, technical, organisational measures, personnel control and access control measures.
