2024
Acquisition of 40% of INNOLACT S.L. (QUESCREM), a Galician dairy company specialised in cream cheese.
2023
Took over 100% of the share capital of Lácteas Flor de Burgos, S.L., consolidating its presence on the cheese market.
2022
Launch of the first carton tethered top on the market, ahead of the Waste Act of July 2024, and of the ‘Carbon Neutral’ carton.
2021
The first ‘Zero Net Emissions’ bottle released on the market.
2020
First dairy company to obtain B CORP certification.
First Spanish company to achieve AENOR CERTIFICATION for being ‘Carbon Neutral’ and ‘Zero Waste’ in all its factories, as well as for its ‘Circular Economy Strategy’.
Acquired 50% of Lácteas Flor de Burgos S.L.

CAPSA VIDA (Investment Vehicle for Food Development) was set up to bolster activity in the countryside and the area of health and sustainability regard healthy food for the future.

2001
CAPSA completed the take-over of Yogures Andaluces, S.A.; production started at the latter’s factory in Seville to supply the southern market.
1997
Corporación Alimentaria Peñasanta, S.A. completed the take-over of LARSA and ATO, an operation which resulted in a significant presence in Catalonia and Galicia.
CAPSA was beginning to take shape.

The company changed its name to CORPORACIÓN ALIMENTARIA PEÑASANTA,S.A.
1992
Central Lechera Asturiana S.A.T. agreed to increase the share capital in Distribuidora Murciana de Lácteos, S.L, change its registered office to Asturias and its name to ‘Lácteos Gijón’. The current Corporación Alimentaria Peñasanta could be said to be already underway.
1969
Central Lechera Asturiana SAT, the parent company of Corporación Alimentaria Peñasanta, launched the first non-returnable plastic bottle and opened the Granda factory, which would become one of the main CAPSA factories.
1967
Grupo Sindical de colonización (Labour Union) No. 9608 Central Lechera Asturiana, the origin of Central Lechera Asturiana Sociedad Agraria de Transformación No. 471 Resp. Ltda (CLAS SAT).
